TVMA Supports Tennessee FFA Veterinary Science Proficiency Award
Dr. Maben Thompson had the opportunity to represent TVMA in presenting the Tennessee FFA Veterinary Science Proficiency Award to Caitlyn Gitchell of Ripley. TVMA sponsors the award which provides FFA members the opportunity to aid in the general health and welfare of animals to further promote the importance of veterinary medicine. They work with veterinarians in clinical practice, research facilities, colleges of veterinary medicine, animal health industry, and any other environments in which they assist veterinarians in performing duties related to the health of people and/or the health and welfare of large and small animals.
