Provost to Present KU's 2024 Campus Master Plan for KBOR Formal Approval

The Provost will present the 2024 Campus Master Plan to the Kansas Board of Regents for formal approval Wednesday, Sept. 18. Once approved, the plan will be made publicly available. The presentation will be livestreamed on KBOR's YouTube channel.
KU's Campus Master Plan, which won an Excellence in Planning award from the Society for College and University Planning, focused on aligning the physical campus with the Jayhawks Rising strategic plan.

Nominate a Book for KU Reads by Sept. 22
|
All members of the KU community are encouraged to submit book nominations for KU Reads via the online form by Sunday, Sept. 22.
Through community nominations, the KU Reads Advisory Board will select a book addressing societal issues to encourage thoughtful examination, empathy and collective problem-solving among participants, fostering community, promoting intellectual engagement and creating a shared dialogue.

Grab a Slice of Cake and Celebrate the Centennial of Watson Library

This year, Watson Library is celebrating its centennial as a cornerstone of the campus community. Stop by Anschutz Library Sept. 19 between 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. and enjoy a slice of celebratory cake before it's gone.
Watson Library will close at 4 p.m. on Thursday Sept. 19 for an invitation-only event and reopen Sept. 20 at 8 a.m.

Leeds Returns to Provide Insight on Indigenous Law |
Join the KU Office of Sovereign Partnerships and Indigenous Initiatives in welcoming Arizona State University Dean and former KU faculty member Stacy Leeds back to KU as she presents "Hot Topics in Indigenous Law and Implications for Higher Education."
Leads has a distinguished academic career, is a former Cherokee Nation Supreme Court Justice and former chair of the Cherokee Nation Gaming Commission.
The event is free and open to everyone.

The Rapport Program, hosted by the Impact & Belonging Team in the Office of Civil Rights and Title IX, fosters community at KU by providing faculty and staff with opportunities to network and build support systems.
