From the Museum
Educational Programing is underway—The museum received a $5,000 grant from the John S. and Doris M. Andrews Memorial Fund, a component fund of The Community Foundation of the Mahoning Valley. The grant allows us to provide participating schools with transportation and admission to the museum as well as enabling us to take educational programs into the schools to teach spatial thinking, geography, economic decision making and ethnic diversity using artifacts and documents from our collections. We hope to expand this program to hire a part-time educator to oversee and implement this for underserved students in our community. If you would like to support this program through volunteering or donations, please contact the museum for details.
