The 63rd Annual Fall Conference & Trade Show is scheduled for October 12-14, 2016 at the Gaylord Resort & Convention Center in Davidson County (Nashville).  the hotel block is currently full.  If your have a room at the conference hotel and wish to cancel it, please call the TCSA staff so that your room may be transferred to someone on the wait list.  TCSA does not have an overflow hotel, however there are numberous hotels very nearby to the Opryland Resort & Convention Center:

The Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation will be hosting a webinar on energy efficiency financing for local governments on Wednesday, October 5th from 9:00-10:00am (CST).  Energy efficiency is one of the easiest and most cost effective ways to reduce operating and maintenance costs, save taxpayer money, and foster economic development.  The webinar will discuss challenges and solutions related to financing energy efficiency retrofits.  The webinar is free, but registration is required.  For more information and to register for the webinar, contact Brandon England at brandon.england@pathwaylending.org or call 615-425-7171.
There will be seven Jail Liability Seminars held in September and October.  This six hour seminar will provide attendees with a better understanding of the issues facing today's jails and provide them with tools to prevent possible liability issues.  Click here for more information.

Through U.S. Communities, counties are eligible to receive a rebate on Home Depot purchases made for the county.  In order to track purchases and calculate the annual rebate available, counties will have to register with U.S. Communities and then enroll in the Home Depot Pro Xtra Loyalty Program.  To learn more about this rebate program, click here.
