Hello Campus Friends,
I hope you are doing well! The Campus Action Response Team (CART) would like for you to consider joining our efforts for this upcoming academic year.
CART is currently 30-strong across multiple departments and is dedicated to ensuring compliance and safety within the community during campus events and activities. CART oversees general management, provides de-escalation and student support, as well as emergency response if needed, while working collectively to support First Amendment/Freedom of Expression activities within the framework of university policies. Their role includes ensuring these planned or unplanned activities do not disrupt campus operations while maintaining a supportive presence together and maintaining Time, Place ,and Manner (TPM) guidelines.
|
- When: Twice a month, on the second Wednesday and last Monday
- Where: Virtual (in-person if requested)

CART is a critical component to the Sac State community and also a wonderful way to bond with students, faculty and staff. If you are interested--or know of someone you believe would be a great fit, please reach out to us by emailing Luis Gomez . We would be thrilled to have you on board and will keep you posted on upcoming training opportunities.
