On Monday, March 24, at 1:30–2:30 p.m., join librarians Carrie and Joanna in Tisch Library Room 223 or online for a hybrid workshop about moving past social media to get reliable news. We'll share strategies for figuring out who owns the news you're consuming, why that matters, and how to fact-check news stories from the local news, TikTok, and elsewhere.

| Global Health Q&A: Medical and MSPH Students Panel |
Join us for a Q&A panel featuring medical and MSPH students from Tufts, Harvard, and Johns Hopkins who have worked on global health projects abroad. Panelists will share experiences, challenges, and insights from working in international healthcare settings and share advice on navigating undergrad, including coursework, extracurriculars, gap years, and the med school/public health school application process. This event will take place on Tuesday, March 25, at 6–7 p.m. on Zoom.

Join us for an Educational Session on Zoom on Thursday, March 27, at 6–7 p.m. A Follow-Up Dialogue Session will be in person (Medford/Somerville campus, food will be served) on Sunday, April 6, at 2–4 p.m. The location will be sent out to all registrants.

Executive Functioning and Mental Health |
Join Counseling and Mental Health Service (CMHS) and the Student Accessibility and Academic Resources (StAAR) Center on Friday, March 28, at 12 noon–1 p.m. in the Dowling Hall Milmore Room to learn about how executive functioning (the ability to organize, plan, make decisions, and solve problems) and mental health intersect. You'll also learn strategies for improved executive functioning. This workshop is drop-in; no need to RSVP. Food will be provided. | TUSM First Annual Global Health Symposium |
On Saturday, March 29, at 9 a.m. at the Medical Education Building, Boston health sciences campus This symposium will highlight the global health work done in the Boston area, shed light on how to enter a career in global health, and further educate student attendees about global health issues. The agenda includes breakfast, coffee, and check-in; keynote speaker; breakout panels; panel on recent political changes on global health; global health advocacy workshop ; and lunch and networking.

Reminder: The deadline to apply for internal transfer from SOE to A&S is April 1. Priority is given to applications submitted by this deadline. Applications submitted April 1–19 will not be reviewed until after the registration period in April.

Tufts Research & Experiential Opportunities (TREO) is a new platform connecting Tufts students with mentored faculty research experiences. Students can apply for research projects with faculty, postdocs, and grad students. The current list of opportunities is hosted in the Department of Biology, but any interested undergraduate student can apply. The application for summer experiences is open now. The deadline has been extended to Sunday, March 30!

| New! Free Admission to Harvard Museums for Tufts Students and Faculty |
Tufts students and faculty can visit any museum at Harvard University free of charge, year-round. This includes attending weekly lectures and special events, including ArtsThursdays; every Thursday evening, a Harvard arts institution or organization will open its doors to the Harvard community and the wider public for free performances, exhibitions, lectures. To be eligible for free admission, students and faculty simply need to show their Tufts ID. All current Tufts students are eligible.
