Dear Student,
Last week, President Kumar shared the news of the launch of Tufts Beyond 175: Looking to the future past 2027. If you missed it, you can read the full text of his message here.
President Kumar has asked Provost and Senior Vice President Caroline Genco to lead a steering committee with members from across the university whose primary function is to advise the process of data gathering and then to examine the data as it comes in and prioritize specific goals for the university leadership to consider and adopt.
The steering committee will be conducting focus groups and has asked me to nominate Arts and Sciences (including SMFA) faculty, staff, and undergraduate and graduate students for the focus groups for the Tufts Beyond 175 project. To do this, we are seeking your nominations. The focus group dates and times have already been scheduled (see below), so please do not nominate anyone who is currently on leave.
Please use this Qualtrics Form to nominate (or self-nominate!) candidates by 12 noon EST on Tuesday, November 12. We will be notifying candidates selected to participate later that week. Please note that we have limited spots to represent Arts and Sciences so not everyone nominated will be able to participate in a focus group.
Thank you in advance for your nominations for this exciting process for Tufts.
Sincerely,
Bárbara M. Brizuela
Dean of the School of Arts and Sciences ad interim
