Focus on: Writing Assignments Effectively

This series of three workshops will guide you through an effective process for completing high quality responses to your written assessment tasks.

Writing Assignments Effectively will ensure that you know how to get started and make progress with your written assignments. You will learn about and practice the key stages of writing, from analysing the questions to proofreading your final draft.

Developing Oral Presentation Skills

This workshop will provide you with a clear understanding on how to prepare and deliver presentations.

Developing Oral Presentation Skills has been designed to give you an opportunity to learn how to prepare presentations with clear objectives and structure, apply engaging presentation techniques, and become familiar with different question-handling strategies.

Located on level 3 of the Fisher Library (ground level), the Learning Hub desk is here to assist you with your learning support enquiries. Feel free to come and speak to one of our friendly team members to find out more about our offerings.

'Quick Chats', a free 1:1 consultation service with one of our Learning Success Advisors, are now available Monday to Friday, during the following times:

Academic Language and Learning enquiries: 1.30pm - 3.30pm
Mathematics and Statistics enquiries: 10:00am - 12:00pm
