Periodically Tufts University asks for students’ thoughts on our formal learning spaces. For this survey, focused on the Medford campus, we define "formal learning spaces" as classrooms, lecture halls, seminar rooms, studios, teaching labs, and other types of on-campus spaces where instruction takes place.
Your feedback is very important in helping us enhance and renovate our campus to better meet
academic needs and plan for the future. Our last survey, conducted in 2015, strongly influenced
the design of more than 75 classroom renovations and the addition of more than 40 new teaching spaces, including those in the new Joyce Cummings Center.

We appreciate your time, and we invite you to share your contact information in a separate

plan to host student focus groups during the year to follow up on survey results. If you are

This survey is confidential. Survey results will be reported in the aggregate, and only the project team will have access to the respondent-level survey data.
