Teacher of the Month - March 2024
In cooperation with the Mayor's office and City Council, the Rotary Club of Okla. City recognizes an outstanding teacher in our community
Holly Jackson, 5th Grade Social Studies at Canyon Ridge Intermediate School in Mustang, has been named Teacher of the Month for March 2024 by Mustang Public Schools and Rotary Club of Oklahoma City.
Holly received her bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education (cum laude) from the University of Central Oklahoma, has been in Education for 19 years, and was named 2023 Mustang District Teacher of the Year.
She serves as an Oklahoma State University Student Teacher Mentor, team lead BEAST Week site rep, is Google Level 1 Certified, and is taking a group of fifth and sixth graders to Washington D.C. in May!
Holly is passionate about making history come alive for students. She creates positive educational climates in which students feel seen, valued, and loved and is focused on maximizing student learning through diverse instructional strategies. Holly is a skilled lecturer discussion facilitator and hands-on leader focused on student success.
Holly accomplishes all of this with the love and support of her husband Joshua and children Aubrey and Analeigh.
Holly Jackson was presented with a certificate of recognition as well as a $500 gift from the Rotary Club 29 Foundation AND a $500 gift from the Oklahoma City Public Schools Foundation in partnership with the American Fidelity Foundation.
