Finding Your Roots
Find the people that helped to make you who you are. Bring your laptop or smart phone and learn how to make your family tree. You will need to bring the names, birthdates and places of your living parents and grandparents plus the names, birthdates and places, and death dates and places of the first grandparents that have died. And you will need to know when and where you were born.
We will use a free website for you to document your information on and show you how to find the pieces of your tree that you do not presently know. You will be able to continue working on your family tree on your own when you go home and prepare an exhibit for the county fair.
Be sure to have your phone or laptop charged or bring along a cord to keep it charged. If you have questions about this class, please contact Gloria Dobberfuhl at 715-637-5579.
