America to Zanzibar is the first immersive, interactive exhibit of its kind in the United States designed especially for children and families. It is about the diversity of Muslim cultures in our city, our country, and the world and offers children and families exciting hands-on experiences to explore in the areas of art, architecture, music, design, travel, trade and more!

Shining a Light: Experiences of Refugee Women

Opens March 8th
The Center's annual international photography contest and exhibit opens on March 8th, International Women's Day. Informed by the UNHCR and the Women's Refugee Commission, the photographs depict refugee women's lived experiences.

MACCS Service Projects

This semester, the Muhammad Ali Center Council of Students is participating in weekly service projects throughout the Louisville community. 
On January 22nd, this group volunteered their time at Americana Community Center, an organization striving to bridge the gap from surviving to thriving for Louisville’s refugee, immigrant and underserved populations.

During our renovations, the Center's store will be located in the Ina B. Bond Gallery on the 4th floor. Admission is required  to access the store during this period.
