Dear Student,
The weather forecast predicts significant snowfall for us tomorrow. I hope you will enjoy the snow following the storm, but while it passes take precautions and avoid travel as it is expected to be difficult to impossible and potentially dangerous. We encourage you to stay indoors as much as possible during the storm.
Whether you live on or off campus, stock up on your favorite food and snacks today so that you can ride out the storm in comfort.
Students with Tufts Dining Plans should look for messages on the Dining app. Since the campus is closed tomorrow, only Carmichael and Dewick will be open for their regular hours. The SMFA Café will be closed. Beacon Street residents are advised to stock up on supplies today from the SMFA Café or use RhinoBucks.
The SMFA shuttle will not run during a campus closure. Check the shuttle app for the status of shuttle operations, as the weather may cause delays or suspensions in service.
Academics
When campus is closed, classes are not expected to meet. Instructors will contact their students about making up missed class time and material, if class is canceled.
Individual faculty members may choose to move their in-person class(es) on-line due to inclement weather and notify students about this in time to meet. Should there be a change in modality, students will hear directly from their instructor.
