How 'bout them Vikings?

It appears the Vikings are fans of fine American cinema.

Football fans similarly enamored with the moviegoing experience recognized a few of yesterday's touchdown celebrations. First, Josh Metellus and Camryn Bynum recreated the Wayans brothers' dance from "White Girls." Then, Metellus and Byron Murphy Jr. showed off a few moves from 2007's "Stomp the Yard."

(Incidentally, that flick was set in Atlanta.)

The team had plenty to celebrate, after all. The Vikings won their sixth consecutive game against the Atlanta Falcons, 42-21. The last time the team scored this much was back in October 2019.

The Vikings sit at No. 2 in the NFC North behind the Detroit Lions. The team's next test comes a week from today when the team takes on the Chicago Bears at U.S. Bank Stadium.

Ding, dong: Dorothy's ruby slippers finally sold

The ruby slippers worn by Judy Garland in 1939's "The Wizard of Oz" have sold at auction for $28 million.

The iconic footwear was at the center of one of Minnesota's greatest mysteries when the slippers were stolen from the Judy Garland Museum in Grand Rapids in 2005. The slippers were recovered in 2018 but it wasn't until earlier this year that the details of the theft unraveled during the criminal case against the larcenists.

If there are two things I love, it's time-lapses and bridge lifts. Add a dash of Christmas and, buddy, you've got a video worth watching on a loop.

That's exactly what Reddit user u/_zarsi granted us over the weekend with this wonderful sequence from the North Shore. The video captures Bentleyville, the annual walk-through Christmas light display that pops up in Duluth in late November and runs through all of December.
