Hi Incoming Graduate Student,

Welcome to Tufts! We are excited to have you starting a graduate program this year! We know you’ll find your course of study challenging, your peers impressive, and our community welcoming and supportive.

Starting a graduate program is about more than academics. Whether you are coming to Boston for the first time or have a long history with Tufts, your outside the classroom experience as a graduate student will be an important part of your overall trajectory. To help you start this next chapter, Student Life has curated a selection of events to give you an opportunity to get connected to Tufts, meet peers outside your department or lab, and get insider tips on life here.

These student life sessions are in addition to academic orientation and resource reminders offered by your department, lab, or school. Our upbeat and highly-rated events are designed just for incoming graduate students. We understand some people are fully remote and others may have coursework or other time conflicts with some events, but we encourage you to attend as many as you can.
