13th ANNUAL LUCIE AWARDS ANNOUNCE CO-HOSTS
Roxana Saberi and Tony Harris host gala awards show Tuesday, Oct 27, arrivals 6pm, Zankel Hall at Carnegie Hall, presented by the Lucie Foundation
Los Angeles, Calif. (October 19, 2015) Roxana Saberi and Tony Harris, both highly-regarded journalists for Al Jazeera America, are set to host the 13th Annual Lucie Awards, presented by the Lucie Foundation, at Zankel Hall at Carnegie Hall, on Tuesday, October 27, 2015 arrivals at 6 p.m. Honorees, top winners from the 2015 IPA competition and support categories will be recognized that evening. Tickets are on sale at www.lucies.org

In making this announcement, Hossein Farmani, founder of the Lucie Awards stated, "We are pleased to have Roxana and Tony host this year's 13th Lucie Awards, as we honor many esteemed photo journalists both in the IPA and Lucie Awards."

Roxana Saberi works as a journalist for Al Jazeera America, an independent award-winning U.S. news channel. Based in New York, she covers human rights and social justice stories in the U.S. and abroad.  Previously, she lived and worked as a correspondent based in Iran, freelancing for news organizations including NPR, BBC, and ABC Radio. She also wrote the book, "Between Two Worlds:  My Life and Captivity in Iran."  Saberi has traveled across the United States and abroad to speak with the public, media, and government officials about Iran, human rights, and overcoming adversity.
Tony Harris is an Emmy Award winning journalist, filmmaker, primetime evening news anchor and host for Al Jazeera America based in New York.  Tony is also the host of the Discovery ID specials “Hate In America” and “Behind Closed Doors.”  Since 2012, he has anchored and co-anchored coverage of election night and State of the Union programming for Al Jazeera. 
The masters who will be recognized on October 27 at the 13th Annual Lucie Awards include: David Hume Kennerly for Achievement in Photojournalism, Roxanne Lowit for Achievement in Fashion, Jerry N.
