We are just 2 weeks away from the Gala and we couldn't be more excited to share some of the auction prizes that will be availble!

Surf Girls On Top Of DA Cup Standings

Congrats to our Girls DA teams on an AMAZING start to the season! These girls had had a huge weekend with massive WINS over vs LAGSD and La Roca FC. Together our 4 DA Girls teams went 7-0-1 overall over the weekend and have proven to be a dominant force in the west. With DA Cup rankings in, we have THREE #1 seeds going into Florida's upcoming DA Showcase. #SurfPROUD

Surf DA Boys Tier 1 Dominance

As the only San Diego team in the Tier 1 bracket our Surf Boys DA teams are proving they are here to compete.

U15 DA Boys are in 2ND place in League

U17 DA Boys are in FIRST PLACE in League, 2ND in Champions Cup

U19 DA Boys are in SECOND PLACE in DA Champions Cup

Good luck to our U19 boys teams as they head to the Pacific Northwest this weekend to take on Vancouver FC and our U17s & 15s as they take on LAGSD.

Surf Players Called To US National Camps

CONGRATULATIONS to Surf's Nya Harrison (U18/19 DA) & Karly Reeves (U18/19 DA) were called into the U.S. U-18 WNT in a Domestic Training Camp held at IMG Academy October 1-8.

And another MASSIVE CONGRATS to Surf's Maggie Taitano ('04 DA) & Anya Van Den Einde ('05 DA) who were 2 of 59 selected players, all born in 2005, that gathered at the National Development Center in Kansas City, Kan. for an Under-15 Girls’ Youth National Team Talent Identification Camp October 6-9th.

And finally CONGRATS TO Surf's Sarah Funk ('03 DA), Dori Savage ('03 DA), Hillary Schroeder (U18/19 DA), Bella Grust (U18/19 DA), Nona Reason ('04 DA) and Sadie Dunphy ('03 DA, not pictured) for being selected to attend the 2003 SoCal YNT Training Center ID Camp. US Soccer held a one day YNT IDC in Carson for the top G2003 SoCal talent where the players went over US Soccers Key Qualities of a player and played in an inter-squad scrimmage.

"We are very proud of all our Surf players being called into the National Camps. It is an honor to be recognized and represent your country. All of these young women personify what Surf stands for and are so proud of their hard work and dedication to our sport, " said Surf's Director of Coaching Rob Becerra.

Congrats to our players for being selected and thank you for representing our club and country, we are truly #SurfPROUD.

Surf's Evan Rotundo Trials with Arsenal

#DevelopedHere- Surf's Evan Rotundo, on our U17 DA boys team coached by Josh Henderson, just returned from a trial with Arsenal and is trialing with several Bundesliga teams in the next few weeks. Evan is one of the top players in the 2004 age group and has been a key player for our U17s team for the last 4 years. Congrats on this well deserved opportunity! #SurfPROUD

Featured Team: Girls '06 DPL

Surf's '06 DPL team is on a mission! These girls headed out to the DPL Dallas Showcase and left it ALL on the field. These girls won 5-0, 3-2 (came back from 2-0 down) & tied 2-2 out in Dallas this week.

"This showcase has been incredible for our girls. When they fought back from a 2 goal deficit it showed the perseverance and character of this team! I'm so incredibly proud of these girls," said Coach Louis Hunt. “The girls managed to continue to play our Surf brand of soccer with success against a strong Real Colorado team & two tough Texas sides,” added Hunt.

Congrats girls on your well earned success out in Dallas!

Featured Team: NPL Boys '09

It’s always exciting when the MLS Academy teams come to Surf to play our teams. Our Boys 09 NPL team, coached by Keith Miller, recently played both LA Galaxy and LA FC at Surf Sports Park. Both were hard fought games and our Surf boys team pulled off 2 well deserved, excellent victories, beating LA Galaxy 6-2 and beating LA FC 2-1. Coach Keith was ecstatic after both games, and rightfully so, both MLS clubs have strong teams and are always super tough opponents.

Well done to the boys and coach Keith!
