It is so wonderful to see campus and Athens filled with students again. We had a great turn out for Welcome Week events, and I hope your student created new experiences and friendships that will last far beyond their time at OHIO.
While engaging events continue to happen as our students settle into their second week of classes, we’re already looking ahead to the first Family Weekend of the year! From September 13-15, we invite you to visit campus, attend fun programming, and explore your student’s hOUme. Check out the calendar of events and start making your travel plans.
I also want to welcome our inaugural Bobcat Family Council members. The Bobcat Family Council is an exciting collaboration between the Office of the Dean of Students, University partners, and family members of undergraduate students to weave perspectives and feedback into our programming and resources. Thank you to all those who applied and to those who are going to make a big impact on the OHIO experience.
As always, don't hesitate to reach out if I can be of support.
