GOD IS MOVING.

We see the impact of your partnership with us in prayer, giving to the Oasis programs, and spreading the word about the need for more contexualized Bibles and books for the growing church in Africa.

Here are highlights from the second quarter of the year that did not make it into the recent Oasis update. We just couldn't resist giving God the glory for all that he is doing to advance the mission of growing discipleship through publishing African voices.
INFLUENCE ON RADIO AND ON THE GROUND
In June, copies of Influence: Leading Without Position arrived in Nigeria, the home country of one of the co-authors, Hankuri Tawus Gaya. The book is already a hit with the youth who are eager to get the right tools to grow their leadership skills.
Gaya is passionate about raising up  godly leaders and is constantly mentoring young people to have a new perspective about leadership. He is using the principles in Influence to make a difference in their lives and transform their communities.
"I have read many co-authored books however, this is different. The collaboration between Philip E. Morrison and Hankuri Tawus Gaya is divine. They both spoke with one voice that reflects the core of their existence: influence.
This duo will help you identify your key influencers in life. Their pull of examples are down to earth leaving one with the [challenge] of becoming proactive in life. I am so happy with the knowledge I am gaining from Influence. I recommend it to all youth in Nigeria." –Dauda Joseph Auta

A TASTE OF THE SISTERHOOD SECRET AND THE RADICAL MONEY MANIFESTO

From inspiring stories about empowering women to share God's Word and life with younger women in their communities, to learning about the bigger agenda that Jesus has on how to use the money he has entrusted you with, the soon-to-be released Oasis books are full of powerful truths that are going to speak to Christians in Africa and around the world.
As we get closer to launching these new books, we invite you to enjoy short excerpts from The Sisterhood Secret: Changing the World Together, One Woman at a Time by Levina Mulandi and The Radical Money Manifesto by Joseph William Black.
Through your purchase of Oasis books and supporting the Oasis Publishing program, we can continue to equip and growth the faith of more believers.

CONTEXUAL DISCIPLESHIP IN ZAMBIA

In May, two Church Growth conferences were held in Lusaka and Kitwe, with 225 pastors receiving Africa Study Bibles. This is the largest number of pastors that have been trained in one session and the most Oasis Bibles distributed at the same session.
"The Africa Study Bible is a tool that needs to reach every servant of God who is involved in the 'teaching and preaching of God's Word'. It is easy to read and easy to grasp the truth of God's Word. I'm personally moving to higher level of revelation as l study the Word using this tool. The evangelism materials have made my work of ministry easier.
May God bless everyone that was involved in planning to come to our nation Zambia. I pray for more partners to join and support this assignment." –Pastor Emelia Chinyundo, one of the Pastors who attended the Church Growth Conference, held in John-Leigh, Zambia

ON TRACK WITH

LA BEPA

Did you know that over 30% of the Africa Study Bible notes were originally written in French and that a third of the contributors are from Francophone countries?

It is a blessing to have some of these scholars as part of the team that is leading the 2022 launch of the French version of the Africa Study Bible called La Bible d'étude: perspectives africaines (La BEPA). The launch leader Augustin Ahoga, retired Regional Secretary of IFES in Francophone Africa, underlines the impact by describing La BEPA as a “response to the great need of French-speaking Africa to understand the Word of God through their different, specific way of thinking. I would even say that it is a real treasure for those who want to know the history of Christianity in Africa, plus how other important themes are treated such as marriage, the path of healing, etc. It is a discipleship resource to equip pastors and leaders to shepherd the church in Africa."

Here's what else you need to know to about how you can contribute to the urgent need for La Bible d'étude: perspectives africaines or simply...
