1. Worship:
Next Wednesday, Feb 17, is Ash Wednesday and begins the Season of Lent. This special service of reflection and prayer begins at 6:30 p.m. in person and on-line. In keeping with health and safety guidelines, the service will include elements of engaging music and worship without the traditional placing of ashes.
 2. Connect & Grow:
Are you new to Deermeadows? Have you been coming for a while, and want to find out how to connect with others? Here’s your chance! Stop by the Meet & Greet after worship next Sunday, Feb 21 in person, or join in a ZOOM session the following Sunday (Feb. 28) and find out more.
3. Serve:
All month long we are learning how Deermeadows supports missions locally, state-wide, nationally, and around the world through the Global Missions offering. Every dollar is directed to funding all four of these areas.
We are also collecting items during the month of February for the Beautiful Feet Ministry. Check out the list below.

February: Missions Emphasis Month
(Please drop off all donations at the Gathering Place or in the Narthex.)

Lenten and Easter Schedule: 
♦ February 17th: Ash Wednesday Service @ 6:30pm in the Sanctuary
(Due to health precautions, ashes will not be administered.)
♦ March 28th: Palm Sunday Service @ 11:00am in the Sanctuary & Live Stream 
♦ April 1st: Maundy-Thursday Service @ 6:30pm in the Sanctuary & Live Stream
♦ April 2nd: Good Friday via Facebook Live @ 12:00 Noon

♦ April 4th: Easter Sunday

› Outdoor Service (On the Field) @ 8:30am
(In the event of rain or bad weather this service will be held in the Sanctuary.)
› Indoor Service (Sanctuary & Live Stream) @ 11:00am

Senior Adults...
Every year the Senior Adults contribute to the Upward Soccer program at Deermeadows by making phone calls to team members parents/guardians to let them know about their player’s team, schedule, and other important information. The information is read from a script and only takes a couple of minutes per player. If you're willing to invest 30-45 minutes please contact Len Sak (642-2200 x 204 or  These calls will be made beginning late February through early March. Thank you for helping Deermeadows serve the families of Upward Soccer!


The student ministry will travel to Mobile, Alabama to serve those that were affected by the 2020 hurricane season. This event is open to students 6th-12th (College, parents, and leaders).
