Alumni Exhibition Deadline Extended to April 30

The submission period for the 2020 Alumni Exhibition has been extended until April 30. In light of recent circumstances, we recognize that alumni may need additional time to submit work.
To enter this juried, alumni-only exhibition, please visit the online SlideRoom application form here. If you already have a SlideRoom account, you will be directed to log in. If you are new to SlideRoom, you will be invited to create an account. For questions relating to SlideRoom, you can email support here.
Artists working in any media are welcome to apply. The $25 submission fee covers up to three pieces, which must be submitted digitally by April 1, 2020. Fifteen dollars of the fee is tax-deductible and will go to support the Alumni Association Scholarship. Please visit the 2020 Alumni Exhibition page for the full submission guidelines, updates, and further information.

CIA's visit to Chicago

Earlier in March, we had a wonderful time connecting with alumni in the Chicago area. We joined current CIA students who were on the Career Center spring break trip, and enjoyed an evening of conversation, connection and pizza.
We look forward to resuming regional visits to our alumni in the future and hope that you are staying safe and healthy right now.

CIA Career Center to host webinar

Stream at home, support the Cinematheque

Cinematheque screenings have been canceled through at least April 30, but you can still watch some of the previously scheduled films—and support the Cinematheque in the process! Screenings for BacurauFantastic FungiVitalina Varela and Zombi Child are all available to stream. Use the links provided on each of the movies’ pages above to ensure that a portion of your purchase goes to the Cinematheque. In most cases, these films will be available through April 30, and more streaming opportunities might still be announced.
