The Center for Pathway Programs serves as the post‑roadshow technical assistance partner for Duke CTSI’s Workforce Development CRP Roadshow. After each stop, we meet with advisors and stakeholders to assess needs, map resources, and co‑develop low‑burden offerings built to last far beyond our initial touchpoints.
Now, The Center is building a community of practice where pathway practitioners share what works, learn from one another, and create reciprocal, self‑sustaining relationships. We'll host discussions on getting started, recruiting mentors, sustainability, and more. Program administrators, staff, and participants are enthusiastically invited to join.
Read our latest update, fill out the brief interest form, and get ready to share your questions and expertise. Learn more.

The MaryAnn Black Summer Internship Program at Duke will take place July 6 – July 24. Each summer, Durham-area high school students go behind the scenes with Duke health care professionals to learn about more than 70 different careers at Duke Health. The internship experience is designed to expand students’ interest in the health care industry and to build a pipeline that meets the health care workforce shortages in our community. This education-to-career program is a collaboration between Duke and Durham YouthWorks.
The program aims to host 50 students this year and is seeking presenters, chaperones, tour guides, lunch & learn panelists, and mentors. Register to volunteer and contact Kimberly Monroe to learn more.
