1. Holy Week @ Home
I can’t wait for you to experience this!
We’ve made a ready-to-go package (prepared with gloved hands – no kidding) you can use to walk through Holy Week while you’re at home. This gift is designed for families with children and students. Here’s what to do...
Today Thursday, April 2, from 4pm to 7pm
♦ Come to the drive through drop off at the sanctuary
♦ Roll down your window or pop your trunk, and
♦ We’ll put the package in your vehicle (with gloved hands – no kidding)
2. B.Y.O.E.
Join us next week via Deermeadows' Live Stream for our Maundy Thursday worship at 7:00pm. Together, wherever we are, we’re going to participate in communion. B.Y.O.E. = Bring Your Own Elements. So fill your cup (you can use a big cup – no kidding), get bread or a cracker ready and let’s honor Christ with one another. This is in no way contradictory to Scripture. Participate with us. Soak it in. Be blessed by God!
3. Keep Up the Great Work
Wow – I’m so proud of the way you’re continuing to connect with one another even though we’re apart.
» More and more adult small groups are connecting online. I hope to pop into some of your classes this Sunday, like walking through the hallways on Sunday mornings, to say "Hi!"
» Leaders in preschool, grade school, and student ministries are keeping in touch with the kids in their classes – and it means so much to their families.
»Teens are having 100+ for Wednesday’s “Student Night Live on Zoom”
»“Kid’s Ministry Wednesday Nights Live! on Zoom” launched last Wednesday, too, enjoying games and Bible study
You are amazing. You’re learning technologies and skills that are brand new to you. You’re seeing how God’s Word applies directly to our lives through these unchartered waters. You’re praying for others and you’re inviting new folks to join in, too. Way to go, church!!!
