Happy CalFresh Week! Have you applied for CalFresh yet?
CalFresh is a grant from the federal government that provides students with FREE money to pay for groceries! With this federal grant, you can get up to $291 per month to buy food, help fuel your focus in the classroom, and maintain your wellness by incorporating healthy foods into your diet.
CalFresh Eligibility
There's no deadline to apply for CalFresh! Once accepted, you must reapply every six months to remain eligible. You must be enrolled in at least six academic units and be employed, working a minimum of 20 hours per week.
Drop-In CalFresh Support is available in the Wellness Office, located in The WELL, Room 1031. Fall semester hours are:
- Monday 10 a.m. - 1 p.m.
- Tuesday 1 p.m. - 4 p.m.
- Thursday 1 p.m. - 4 p.m.
- Friday 9:30 a.m. - 12 p.m.
