In 1953, the citizens of Clay County, Missouri voted to levy a mill tax to establish a local public health department and the board was established in the fall. This means that as of 2023, Clay County Public Health Center has been serving the community for 70 years!
In celebration of this occasion, we will host an open house on Wednesday, Sept. 20 from 4-6 p.m. Community members are invited to tour the building, get to know our programs and staff, learn more about our history, and enjoy refreshments. The CCPHC building is located at 800 Haines Drive, Liberty, MO 64068.
