Dear Member of the Class of 2022:
Below are reminders regarding the graduation application process and step by step details about how to submit your graduation materials. If you do not plan to graduate in 2022, please let us know so that your record can be updated.
GRADUATION DEADLINES:
For May and August 2022 Degree Candidates: Application to Graduate in SIS and Graduation Packets are due by Wednesday, November 24, 2021.
As a reminder, to be eligible to graduate you need to:
- Apply to graduate on SIS. You will find this under the Academics drop-down tab.
- Submit your completed Graduation Packet materials to Student Services.
- For Liberal Arts BA/BS students, this consists of a Student Degree Audit, your signed primary major checklist, and any signed second major and/or minor checklists.
- For Liberal Arts BFA students, this consists of a signed BFA Student Degree Audit and any signed minor checklists.
- For Liberal Arts BA/BFA Combined Degree students, this consists of a Liberal Arts Student Degree Audit, a signed BFA Student Degree Audit or BFA Degree Checklist, your signed primary major checklist, and any signed second major and/or minor checklists.
- For Engineering students, this consists of your signed Student Degree Audit and signed second major and/or minor checklists.
- Petitions for approval to substitute courses for requirements must be submitted before the Graduation Packet to ensure your student degree audit is up to date.

Submission Details:
- Go to go.tufts.edu/gradpacketsubmission.
- Log in using your Tufts UTLN and password.
- You will not be able to submit your graduation materials through the electronic form until after you have registered for Spring 2022 courses.
- Confirm that the information on the form is correct.
- You will not be able to complete and submit the form until you have applied to graduate in SIS.
- If the expected graduation term is not correct, confirm in SIS that you applied for the correct term. Contact Student Services if you need to change your expected graduation term.
- If the major(s) and minor(s) are not correct, confirm in SIS that your majors and minors are declared correctly. Submit the necessary forms to update your majors/minors or contact Student Services for further help.
- Upload the required materials.
- All documents must be completed and signed before they are uploaded to the form.
- Submit!
Submission deadlines are necessary so that we have ample time to review your Graduation Packet and verify that all graduation requirements have been met. Your Graduation Packet must be submitted regardless of outstanding issues such as transfer credit, petitions, and Incompletes. If you do not submit a Graduation Packet, you will not graduate!

Additionally, the Advising Deans and Student Services are holding Graduation Application Information Sessions, where you can learn about applying for graduation, submitting your graduation packet, transfer of credit, petitions, degree audit questions/concerns, and eligibility for part-time study in the spring semester.
Arts & Sciences: Monday, October 25, 3:00 – 4:00 p.m. EST via Zoom (closed captioning available)
BFA & Combined Degree: Tuesday, October 26, 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. EST via Zoom
Engineering: Wednesday, October 27, 11:00 a.m. – noon EST via Zoom
