The Book Buses visit every OKCPS Elementary, Middle and High School each year, providing all students a brand new book of their choice. Volunteers make these special days run smoothly and help put books into the hands of every child who visits.

Volunteer duties may include, but not limited to:

1. Helping students find a book on the bus
2. Stickering and stamping books at the checkout table
3. Scanning books as they leave the bus
4. Handing out bookmarks
5. Reorganizing shelves and counters between classes
6. Help set up/pack up the bus before/after visit
