Hope during difficult times, new virtual programming, and L3.
Grand Valley State University Alumni Association E-News
 JUNE 2020
These are difficult times, and my heart is with our more than 126,000 alumni bravely facing challenges across the globe. The problems we face – from managing life during a pandemic to facing economic instability to fighting racism – are real and frightening.

Yet, there is still hope. We all have a sphere of influence, and I know as compassionate Lakers we will continue to use our influence wisely. I encourage you to read this message from President Philomena V. Mantella and to learn more about being Partners in Action Against Racism. Then ask yourself: What lies within my power of influence? What positive change can I make in my community?

Thank you, Lakers, for your continued sacrifices and acts of kindness during these troubling times. May we all do the work needed to build a better future.
