Confused About Medicaid Eligibility? We Can Help
Are Medicaid guidelines confusing to you or the people your organization serves in the community? If so, we can help. Our Community Engagement Medicaid Manager provides free education on Medicaid eligibility and the many nuances of the Medicaid program to older adults and people with disabilities, as well their caregivers and professional staff working with these populations. This includes, for example, pooled trusts, which can support someone whose income exceeds the Medicaid threshold to obtain Medicaid while keeping their excess income.
If you would like a presentation for professional staff or seniors and/or people with disabilities your organization serves, please contact Danny Perry, Director of Community Engagement, at
dperry@icsny.org or 646.653.6194. You can also learn about ICS’s Medicaid support services by downloading our Medicaid flyer
here or viewing our short video

ICS also conducts free presentations on managed long-term care (MLTC), highlighting the eligibility requirements and services provided. In addition, we can also discuss ICS’s specialized programs and services, including our
comprehensive wheelchair program and
Consumer Directed Personal Assistance Services (CDPAS), which enable Medicaid eligible individuals receiving homecare to hire, train, and supervise their own personal care aides, including most family members.
