Thanks to a new partnership between Hope Services and Career Source Pasco-Hernando our programs are now available to youth ages 16–24 who are not currently in school, to gain valuable career skills and employment opportunities!

Through this initiative, eligible participants will have access to:

• One of our four vocational certifications (Culinary Arts, Construction, Retail, or Hospitality)

• On-the-Job Training (OJT) experiences

• Job placement and career coaching services

This opportunity is open to both current clients who meet the criteria and new referrals who live in Pasco or Hernando County.

After applying, CareerSource will conduct a phone screening followed by a face-to-face appointment. If the applicant is unable to make it to the office, CareerSource staff will arrange to meet them at a convenient location. Once eligibility is confirmed, Hope Services will receive the referral and begin working with the participant to start their vocational journey!

This is an excellent opportunity to help young adults gain the skills and experience needed to enter the workforce and build a brighter future.

Our curriculums are ready, and Hope Services Life Skills and Vocational Rehabilitation Center is buzzing with winter energy as we prepare to welcome campers!

We’re excited to offer two outstanding programs designed to help students discover their strengths and step into the new year with confidence and positive expectations:

• Intro to Culinary: Our signature camp where students explore the art of cooking and kitchen skills.

• Intro to Retail: A brand-new program introducing students to the fundamentals of retail operations and customer service.

Both programs are open to students ages 14 to 21 who are currently enrolled in school and have an IEP or 504 plan. These experiences provide hands-on learning, practical skills, and a supportive environment to help students prepare for future opportunities.

Spaces are limited, so if you’re interested, please reach out to your Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor to request a referral. Don’t miss this chance to learn, grow, and start the year on a positive note!

It’s the most wonderful time of the year! Christmas has always held a special place in my heart, the sounds of familiar carols, the sparkle of decorations, the joy of gift-giving, and the laughter shared with family and friends.

Growing up in Illinois, I especially miss the beauty of snow this time of year. But even here in sunny Florida, the warmth and wonder of Christmas surround us wherever we go.

As we reflect on the past year, our hearts are filled with gratitude for you and the support you’ve shown. Every visit to the center feels like Christmas morning. hearing the joy, laughter, and excitement of our youth as they learn, grow, and explore new possibilities through our Career Camps is truly a gift.

This holiday season, wherever you go and whoever you are with, we hope you’ll take a moment to reflect on the blessings in your life. And as you move through the world, may you find opportunities to share kindness, sometimes a simple smile can brighten someone’s day in ways you may never know.
