| Open Educational Resources Support Student Succes |
Open educational resources (OER) are teaching and learning resources, in any format, that are free of cost and licensed to allow for reuse, revision and redistribution. Using OER can significantly reduce costs for students. Research shows that OER increases student retention and completion rates as well as support innovative pedagogical opportunities not possible with traditional “all rights reserved” copyrighted material.
For more information about KU Libraries’ OER initiatives and resources, visit OER at KU or contact oer@ku.edu.
