Per Svensson Receives International Research Award in Australia SOK’s Per Svensson, PhD, received the Sport Management Association of Australia and New Zealand’s (SMAANZ) Best Research Paper Award at the 28th annual conference held in Melbourne, Australia for his research with Katherine Raw, PhD, (Swinburne University of Technology and Deakin University) on the role of failure in the field of sport for development and peace. JACKSON CLYDESDALE
Jackson was born and raised in Nashville, Tennessee. He graduated from LSU in the spring of 2022 with a Bachelor's degree in Sport Administration. During his four years at LSU, Jackson had the opportunity to work at the Nashboro Golf Club, University Golf Club, and with the Nashville Predators. In the past year, Jackson was able to complete his Master's program in Kinesiology - Sport Management at LSU, while also holding an administrative role with Turnipblood Entertainment. Jackson has recently accepted a job in Clearwater, Florida, with The Sports Facilities Companies. His title will be a Customer Coordinator for AwayTeam Travel, a subdivision of The Sports Facilities Companies.

SAMUEL CUMMINGS
Samuel grew up in Raleigh, North Carolina and traveled only 3 hours away to the University of North Carolina at Charlotte for his undergraduate degree. He was a Psychology Major and Sociology Minor in which he graduated on the Dean's list. Football has always been his first love and as a result, his next goal and chapter is to graduate from LSU, obtain his NFLPA license, and become an NFL agent. Samuel is currently finishing up his second semester at LSU. He loves the program and the coursework involved. Some of his hobbies include golf, concerts, and traveling. He'd like to thank Dr. Martinez as well as the Kinesiology Program at LSU for recognizing his work ethic and hopes to represent LSU success in the future!

| AUDIE ESPINOZA
Originally from Corpus Christi, Texas, Audie graduated from Texas A&M-Corpus Christi (TAMUCC) in 2022 with a Bachelor’s in Kinesiology. Before TAMUCC, Audie began her studies at Victoria College, where she competed on the basketball team, helping her team achieve multiple conference titles. While obtaining her undergraduate degree, she worked for a local high school, coaching volleyball and basketball. Now, Audie is pursuing a Master’s in Kinesiology—Sports Management from LSU, while being a mother, and mentor for a club volleyball program. She plans to utilize her Master’s degree to become an athletic coordinator in the state of Texas, where she can apply her knowledge to help the community and her athletes.

HANNAH JACOBS
Hannah Jacobs is from New Braunfels, Texas. She pursued her academic and athletic journey at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas. She is an alumna from SMU where she received her Bachelor's degree in Applied Physiology and Health Management while being a four-year letter athlete on the women’s volleyball team. Hannah worked as a pediatric physical therapist technician prior to coming to LSU to exercise her fifth year of eligibility and pursue further education. Hannah played her final season of volleyball this past fall and is graduating in May from the Sport Management program with her Master's degree. Following graduation, she plans to coach volleyball at her alma mater SMU while applying for full-time positions. Charlotte, North Carolina is her dream destination as she hopes to work in Premium Events for the Charlotte Hornets.

STEPHEN HETRO, MS: SPORT MANAGEMENT '23
Stephen joined LSU Sports Properties in April of 2023 as a Partnership Services Manager and spent the previous year working within the LSU Ticket Office as a Senior Account Executive. Prior to working in Collegiate Athletics, he spent four seasons with the New Orleans Saints/Pelicans. His other professional experience includes being a Marketing Assistant with the Kansas City Chiefs and a Selection Tour Representative with the U.S. Army All-American Bowl.
