Make this week count! The Reflections Arts Program deadline has been extended through the Thanksgiving week-long break to give more students the opportunity to submit artwork. The  deadline is November 27th!

This Taylor Swift lunch club (Swifties) was partially inspired by my oldest daughter’s love of her music paired with the sheer amount of students from my last year‘s 6th grade classes who identified themselves as “Swifties”. Knowing that there’s many more out there on campus, I decided to provide a place where they can come listen to the music and just hang out with one another. The bracelet making, kahoot game playing, and even karaoke just became a thing as the Wednesdays rolled on. I can safely say that, I too, have come to appreciate Taylor’s talent and enjoy listening to her music. Don’t call me a Swiftie yet though, for now I just lead the lunch club. The Taylor Swift club meets alternating Wednesdays in Room X12.
