To the Rhodes Family,
Soon our community will be coming back together, from all points on the compass and for the first time in many long months. Happily, we will once again be working, playing, and living in close proximity; the epitome of the liberal arts experience.
As we do, and given COVID’s resurgence caused by the Delta variant, we will need to exercise due caution in our social interaction. Until we’ve achieved full vaccination, the right thing to do is to stick with the fundamentals. In line with updated CDC guidance, we ask everyone in our community––regardless of vaccination status––to mask up indoors and observe social distancing to the maximum extent possible, everywhere we congregate.
Well begun is half done, goes the old maxim. Let’s get a great start in terms of health and safety and make sure the full Rhodes experience is enjoyed by one and all, throughout the academic year.
We’ll revisit this policy as we continue to monitor the public health situation. In the meantime, pack your bags, get your shots, don your masks, and let’s come together Lynx style.
