We are deeply saddened to share the passing of Joseph M. Murphy '59, '83H, a beloved member of the Iona community and trustee emeritus. A visionary leader and generous benefactor, Mr. Murphy’s impact on Iona is lasting and profound — from the Murphy Center and Christopher J. Murphy Auditorium to the Murphy Green. Alongside his late wife, JoAnn M. Murphy ’98H, he helped shape the future of Iona's campus with extraordinary dedication and care. We are forever grateful for his legacy.
