| DONUT Hesitate to Ask About Mental Health! |
DONUT 🍩 be afraid to ask questions about mental health at Tufts. The Tufts Mental Health Reps are hosting a panel to answer and discuss all of your mental health questions (anonymously!). This will be a casual Q&A event with free donuts from Davis Square Donuts. Donut Hesitate will be on Monday, March 3, at 12 noon–1 p.m. in Curtis Hall. The panel will include one student, one Tufts therapist, and one off-campus therapist.

Join the Career Center on Tuesday, March 4, to connect with non-profit organizations, including Justice 4 Housing, The Welcome Center, The Red Cross, and Quaker Voluntary Service. Stop by the Campus Center at 11 a.m.–2 p.m. to learn more about their missions and ways to get involved with their work. This is a great event for all students interested in non-profit and social impact work looking to explore internship and volunteer opportunities.

Tufts Muslim Chaplaincy and the Muslim Students Association (MSA) invite students, faculty, and staff to join us for breaking the fast at sunset on Tuesday, March 4, at 5:30 p.m. at Breed Hall. Ramadan is the holy month of fasting for Muslims around the world, and it is a time of reflection and spiritual discernment that the Muslim community would like to share, along with a delicious halal meal, with our friends and neighbors throughout the University.

| Scoville Peace Fellowship Information Session |
Do you want to learn more about starting a career in peace and security issues? Join the Career Center and International Relations (IR) department on Wednesday, March 5, at 12 noon–1 p.m. in Tisch Library Room 304. Alumna Marlena Broeker will talk about the Scoville Peace Fellowship and being a young professional in Washington, DC. Fellows work for six to nine months at one of over 20 participating advocacy groups and think tanks such as The Brookings Institution, The Carnegie Endowment, CSIS, and Federation of American Scientists.

On Ash Wednesday, many mark the beginning of Lent by honoring the ancient call to be rooted in our truest selves through prayer, reflection, and acts of discipline. It is a call to journey through the wilderness as we move towards the Cross and the Empty Tomb. On Wednesday, March 5, at 12 noon and 5 p.m. at Goddard Chapel, all are welcome to join in this ecumenical Liturgy of the Word with prayer, singing, reflection, and the optional imposition of ashes.

Glamour and Narrative in Film Noir: FMS Speaker Series Presents a Talk with Film Scholar Patrick Keating |
In this lecture on Thursday, March 6, at 5:30 p.m., Patrick Keating will explain how Hollywood made stars look glamorous, both in magazine photography and in the cinema. During the 1930s, portrait photographers had redefined the idea of glamour. Previously, a portrait of a movie star would have looked bright and hazy; now, glamour looked darker and harder.

Apply for Annual Sustainability Exploration Grant to Fund an Unpaid Internship |
Have you secured a sustainability-related internship that doesn't provide compensation? The Office of Sustainability funds one student each summer to receive $4,500 for their unpaid internship (minimum 300 hours). Apply through the Tufts Career Center for this and other internship funding support. The deadline to submit materials and applications is March 16.

The theme for Global Tufts Month is Global Health Equity, highlighting the disparities in health outcomes and access to healthcare worldwide. Tufts students and faculty have consistently advocated for policies and actions that promote health equity for all people, regardless of their socioeconomic status, geographical location, race, ethnicity, gender, or any other factor that may contribute to inequities in health. Check out the events happening across the university or plan your own event!
