Mo'MAGIC Holiday Visit to the Presidio

YMCA is Hiring for an Administrative Program Specialist. 
Position Description
Under the supervision of the Director, the Administrative Program Specialist (APS) is responsible for ensuring that FRC clients receive the highest quality services and are appropriately connected to information and referrals at WA FRC and in the community as needed. The APS’ functions include maintaining a safe and operational office environment, performing basic administrative duties such as answering phones and greeting participants, conducting intake and screening, providing appropriate information, materials or referrals, assisting drop-in participants, inputting client data and attendance, providing Child watch, mentoring and training volunteers, and coordinating/planning community events, outreach.

This position is concerned with the delivery of services in the community. To this end the  Administrative Program Specialist must have the interpersonal skills to interact effectively with families identified as being at risk for abuse/neglect or out of home placement while imparting knowledge about community resources that may be of assistance to the families. Effective oral and written communication skills with families and youth, and the ability to clearly document outcome and data per program protocols are all necessary. The APS adheres to all confidentiality procedures.
