SHARC Fest
Tutors from across campus will be stationed for FREE drop-in tutoring to answer your last-minute questions before final exams. Subjects include biology, BITM, business, chemistry, core, diplomacy, economics, English, languages, math, nursing, psychology, sociology, writing & MORE. We’ll have workshops and tips on prepping for finals and study skills from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. and destressing activities. Raffle Prizes include Movie Night Care Package, Snack Care Package, Game Night Basket, and School Spirit Basket

OSE Presents: AAPI Heritage Month Celebration
On May 5, join the Office of Student Engagement outside on the Green from 12pm to 2pm to kick off Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Month! Come watch a traditional Chinese Lion Dance performance, enjoy free food and treats, henna art, Asian calligraphy drawings, origami, and more!

SHU Annual Spring Concert
On May 8 at 7:30 p.m., the Seton Hall University Chorus, Chamber Choir and Orchestra present the Annual Spring Concert, “A Celebration of Spring” at South Orange Performing Arts Center (SOPAC). The Orchestra (under the direction of Prof. Anthony LaGruth) will feature both classical works and music from great films. Selection of this year’s programming was done in accordance with the Seton Hall University Arts Council’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion cultural programming theme of ‘Voices & Visibility’ and features work from and about groups that have been otherwise historically underrepresented. Admission is free day-of with advanced registration available for $5 online. Register for the event here.

IMPACT Student Leadership Awards Ceremony
Join the Office of Student Engagement as we celebrate our Student Leaders with the Annual IMPACT Student Leadership Awards! Nominations were collected from the Seton Hall Community for students and organizations who make an impact on campus. All award nominees and SHU community members are invited to attend the awards ceremony on Monday, May 8th at 5p.m. in the UC Event Room. Winners will be announced, and light refreshments will be served.

New Jersey Big Data Alliance Symposium
On May 9 at 8:30 a.m. Seton Hall University will host the 10th Annual New Jersey Big Data Alliance (NJBDA) Symposium, the state’s “premier conference for big data and advanced computing.” The event theme this year focuses on the opportunities in new development in the financial industry created by big data and financial technology. Join industry leaders, government representatives, professors, students, and staff from NJ colleges and universities at the premier conference for big data and advanced computing in New Jersey. Registration for the symposium is now open and can be accessed through the NJBDA website.
