Hello, Ward 7 Families:

We had a wonderful Ward 7 Council & Community meeting on Thursday evening. Thank you to each of the school council reps, parents, and staff who attended and delved into important discussions about belonging, inclusion, and parent engagement in our communities. We will continue these conversations at our November meeting and invite any interested parents, guardians, and caregivers to join us. A flyer and RSVP link will be shared in the first week of November.

Today marks the end of Local Government Week. I am thrilled to spend the day visiting classes at Warren Park PS, Humbercrest PS, and Runnymede CI discussing the important role of municipal government.

To all who are celebrating Diwali and Halloween next week, I wish you happy and safe celebrations!

Last week I announced the assignment of Jane Phillips-Long as Interim Superintendent for FOS07. I am pleased to share the new appointment of Acting Superintendent Alex Tracey to FOS07.
