Dr. Jada Reeves invited to speak to Black Student Nurses Association
| Earlier this month Dr. Jada Reeves was invited to speak a BSNA session. She shared her experience with them that obtaining a PhD in nursing is not impossible or out of reach.
Reeves expressed, "Having a Ph.D. in nursing is more than a personal and professional accomplishment, but it also represents a commitment to improving healthcare among multiple populations, especially vulnerable and marginalized groups. The future of nursing and the improvement of patient health care outcomes are greatly influenced by Ph.D.-prepared nurses through their knowledge, research, leadership, teaching, and contributions to healthcare science. And as the healthcare landscape continues to evolve, the significance of nurses with advanced degrees, particularly PhDs, cannot be overestimated."
