Children’s Minnesota promotes Dr. Meysam Kebriaei to medical director of pediatric neurosurgery

Children’s Minnesota recently promoted pediatric neurosurgeon Dr. Meysam Kebriaei to medical director of the organization’s neurosurgery program. Dr. Kebriaei previously served as associate director of neurosurgery with Children’s Minnesota since about 2017. Dr. Kebriaei’s team cares for more kids than any other neurosurgery program in the region and performs hundreds of surgeries each year.

“I’m thrilled for this opportunity to lead such a prestigious program,” said Dr. Kebriaei. “As the kid experts in this specialty at Children’s Minnesota, my team’s goal is to expand our program as a regional leader in pediatric neurosurgery by expanding our neurosurgical service offerings and investing in the latest technology to continue delivering positive patient outcomes.”

Children’s Minnesota: Neonatal Virtual Care program launches new telehealth partnership with CCM Health
Children’s Minnesota has added CCM Health as a new Neonatal Virtual Care program partner. Now, their providers have 24/7 access to our Level IV neonatal experts. “As the kid experts, Children’s Minnesota strives to form strong partnerships with health systems like CCM Health to bring our high-level of specialized neonatal care to more virtual bedsides,” said Dr. Mark Bergeron, founder and lead neonatologist of Children’s Minnesota: Neonatal Virtual Care. “By doing so, we can deliver more provider-to-provider consultations – on-demand – so we help care for more of the most complex and critically ill newborns from across our region.” Learn more.
Children’s Minnesota oncologist presents Grand Rounds for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital 
Dr. Kris Ann Schultz, pediatric oncologist at Children’s Minnesota, provided Grand Rounds for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital (Nashville, Tennessee) on Jan. 27, 2022. Over 180 national and international physicians, students and researchers participated virtually in the session titled: “DICER1: Bedside to Bench and Back Again.” Learn more!
