Tips for Grads

For many graduate students summer is spent hunched over dusty manuscripts in gloomy archives and musty libraries. Thanks to the modern digital revolution, the situation has changed greatly and freed scholars to work wherever they have access to a computer and the internet.
But how does one best use digital tools for academic research? This short online workshop will introduce you to best practices in conducting research through digitalization, online research, and data mining.
Whether you’re conducting doctoral research in the social sciences and humanities or simply curious about new academic technologies, this workshop is for you. It may even help you get outdoors this summer!
