KBUG: Mental Health and Wellness Abroad |
It is important to know how to care for your mental health and wellbeing, especially in an exciting but new environment when studying abroad. Join Tufts Global Education and the Counseling Center's own Dr. Xi Bi on Monday, April 1, at 12 noon–1 p.m. via Zoom to learn more about what you can do to take care of yourself mentally and emotionally!

Tufts in Oxford Information Session for First-Year Students Planning to Study Abroad in 2025–2026 |
For first-year students interested in applying to attend Tufts in Oxford during their junior year (academic year 2025–2026): The Tufts-in-Oxford application process begins the summer before sophomore year, so it is important to learn about the program and the application process early. This session will cover academics at Pembroke College and the application process. Pizza will be provided. Join us on Tuesday, April 2, at 12 noon–1 p.m. in Dowling Hall Milmore Room.

Constructive Dialogue in the Age of Social Media – Campus Viewing Event and Post-Panel Dinner and Conversation |
On Tuesday, April 2, at 5 p.m. in Ballou Hall Coolidge Room, all students are invited to view a panel on Constructive Dialogue in the Age of Social Media. Panelists will discuss approaches to foster constructive dialogue in light of the challenges posed by social media. Law Day on the Hill: AI, Cybersecurity, Privacy in a Public World |
The Tufts Lawyers Association invites alumni and students who work in or are interested in the legal field to their annual Law Day on the Hill event on campus on Tuesday, April 2, at 6 p.m. You'll have the opportunity to listen to dynamic and impressive panelists talk about a topic of growing importance in today's world: AI, cybersecurity, and data privacy. Before and after the panel, you'll have the opportunity to network with alums. Come to this event and learn from alumni and grow your network! See you there.

On Tuesday, April 2, at 7:30–8:30 p.m. in Barnum Hall LL008, Daily Flame is hosting our first-ever Hallelujah Worship Night to continue the celebration of Jesus' Resurrection. The annual Senior Commencement Fair will take place on Wednesday, April 3, at 9 a.m.–3 p.m. in the Mayer Campus Center Lobby. All seniors graduating should plan to stop by. Are you interested in studying Chinese in Beijing this summer? | Experiments in Utopia: Community Composting and Alternatives to Neoliberal Sustainability |
On Thursday, April 4, at 12 noon, Environmental Studies is bringing environmental sociologist and author Guy Schaffer for the Hoch Cunningham Environmental Lecture Series. His talk will be about his book, Composting Utopia: Experimental Infrastructures for Organics Recycling in New York City, which describes interactions between community and municipal composting in NYC. This talk will be livestreamed and recorded. We will be raffling off three copies of his book among in-person attendees.

2024 Tufts Food Systems Symposium: Learning from Food Waste |
What does it mean to learn from food waste instead of just about it? This year's Tufts Food Systems Symposium will take a fresh look at a familiar problem, connecting "downstream" effects with "upstream" causes and bringing together people and groups working to make real change in the food system and beyond. Join us on Friday, April 5, at 10 a.m.–2 p.m. for conversation with campus and community partners, hands-on activities for learning and reflecting, and table discussions over good food.

The Advising Period has started, and we are here to help you prepare for your fall 2024 registration. Be sure to schedule an advising appointment with your advisor asap to plan for your courses and to have your Registration Hold lifted.
There is also a new registration format in place for fall 2024 that you can review with your advisor.

- Engineers have a pre-registration date of April 9 and a subsequent second registration date and time depending on your class year. (Check SIS for your registration times.)
- A&S students register April 11–16 by class year. (Check SIS for your registration date/time.)

The deadline for all AS&E undergraduates to Withdraw from a spring 2024 course and receive a grade of "W" or to select Pass/Fail is Wednesday, April 3 at 11:59 p.m. ET.

| Make a JUMBO Impact: Tufts Student Giving's (TSG) April Giving! |
Do you want to make a JUMBO impact on student life? Consider donating to one of six student groups competing to have as many donors as possible this month. The top three groups will receive an additional $500, $300, and $200, respectively, from the Alumni Association. Find us in the Campus Center every Wednesday and Thursday at 12 noon–1 p.m. to make a gift. Plus, student donors will be thanked with a FREE ice cream treat at our Get the Scoop event on April 25 with the Cookie Monstah food truck!
