James Lankford served four years in the US House of Representatives for central Oklahoma, until he was overwhelmingly elected to the United States Senate in 2014.
He and his staff enjoy serving people from all backgrounds across Oklahoma. James is Chair of the Government Operations and Border Management Subcommittee, which covers border security, management, and operations; regulatory reform; and the federal workforce. He demands we have a secure, more fiscally responsible, and transparent federal government, and our nation remains the world leader. He believes that the federal government has an important role in our nation, but empowered families, individual people, and private businesses grow our economy and pass down our values.

| Calgary Reflections
by President Ross Plourde and Exec. Director Megan Law
The Canadian Rockies were the backdrop for the Rotary International Convention in Calgary, Alberta, Canada this year. Megan Law and I got together with about 15,000 fellow Rotarians from 142 countries around the world to meet, mingle, learn, be inspired and share ideas.
We were a little over a week too early for the Calgary Stampede, the annual 10-day festival celebrating Calgary’s western heritage, but Rotary showed up ready in white straw cowboy hats. The cheer of the Stampede is “Yahoo,” featured in six-foot high stand-alone letters outside the convention center, that from the back (which was my initial vantage point) spell “OOHAY.”
Megan was the best, assuring that we spent the appropriate time with the leaders of the three other largest clubs in the U.S., the District Governor for the Japanese Rotary district..... READ MORE

August 2025 - Rotarian Magazine for Rotarian Subscribers
"It's one of the only places in the world I can go where I don't need my wheelchair." So says Bill Bogdan, describing the joy of scuba diving. Eager to share the experience, Bogdan volunteers with Diveheart, a nonprofit run by a pair of Rotarians that introduces people with an array of disabilities to adaptive diving. For this issue of Rotary magazine, we spent a few days at a Diveheart training pool to see the excitement up close.
