What was once called Mr. and Ms. Georgia Tech is now Ramblin’ Royalty
Thursday, October 6, 2022
Homecoming week is upon us, and many traditions are happening on campus. Though most remain unchanged, this year there is a new name for the student awards program. What was once called Mr. and Ms. Georgia Tech is now Ramblin’ Royalty. The recent name change adopts an inclusive approach, celebrating students who exemplify the Georgia Tech motto Progress and Service.
The inaugural weeklong event will feature sessions covering topics from data analytics and dashboards to data governance and data protection.
What barriers do students, faculty, and staff face when trying to build community and find a sense of belonging at Georgia Tech? How can institutions work to address these issues? These were some of the questions explored during the 14th annual event.
Join Institute Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion; the GoSTEM Program; and the Center for Student Diversity and Inclusion for the 2022 Hispanic Heritage Month Lecture, featuring Gabby Rivera, author of Juliet Takes a Breath and the Marvel comic series America.
