The University of Texas at Austin is opening the East Campus Graduate Apartments, a six-building housing complex, at the start of the 2024-25 academic year. This new community is available exclusively to UT graduate students and will consist of 545 units and over 750 beds. The apartments are located in East Austin, less than one mile from the center of campus and surrounded by a vibrant restaurant, retail and entertainment scene.
Residents will enjoy charming outdoor courtyards, multiple meeting rooms and study spaces, a large fitness center, and a convenient onsite restaurant. Safety and security of residents are prioritized with controlled card access to residential areas, live on staff support, onsite maintenance and a service desk.
Three floor plans are available—studio, one bedroom and two bedroom—and all units come fully furnished with living room and bedroom furniture, and include central heating and air conditioning, appliances (refrigerator, oven, microwave and dishwasher), and an in-unit washer and dryer. Rates include the cost of room, all utilities (electricity and water), laundry, internet and trash service.
Learn more about the application process and apply now through University Housing and Dining’s housing portal. In order to qualify, you must be a continuing, full-time graduate student at UT or have submitted a graduate program application to the University. Contracts will be offered to current and incoming graduate students in application date order based on available space, so the sooner you apply for housing, the better your chance of getting a contract. Contract prioritization will be given to students in programs where the expectation is to provide competitive funding, such as Ph.D. students and those earning the highest degrees in their fields.
Sincerely,
