Gateways Inn in Lenox presents live jazz regulary. This Friday night, Berkshire favorite Wanda Houston is joined by Rob Kelly. Then on Saturday night, pianist George Rose performs. Fun on First Sunday: Portrait

Sun Jan 8, 1–4 p.m. 
Start the year off with a free Sunday at the Clark. Make portraits and reflect on the idea of a portrait. Materials for collage and photo-based portraits will be available. Mirrors will be provided for those wanting to do self-portraits. Stop and meet artists stationed around the museum and sit for your own portrait. More info

A Story of Hope

Crescendo presents "A Story of Hope in the Voice of the New World," voices and instrumental music from Latin American polyphony from late-16th to early-17th century music manuscripts found in convents Northwest Guatemala, and vocal and Villancicos and instrumental music from the Peruvian Martinez Comapañón Codex. The performance is at Saint James Place in Great Barrington. More info
