The Phoenix Forum is a quarterly newsletter for UChicago College undergraduates, their families, and College faculty and staff.

Spring has (finally) sprung on campus, as evidenced by students lounging on the Quad, open classroom windows, and the return of blooming trees and flowers. As the academic quarter winds down, the College celebrates its students and another successful academic year. It has certainly been one to remember.

Entering his final two months as dean of the College after 31 years, John W. Boyer leaves behind a legacy of achievement. He has strengthened the College in every measurable way while remaining true to the enduring values upon which the University was founded.
