Happy New Year! We are looking forward to another exciting year at Tufts. Our faculty and staff are hard at work preparing for the return of your students next week. Please review these important reminders to help your student succeed this semester.

Academic Updates
As we approach the start of the spring semester, it is time to review the past and plan for the future. Academic Standing review happens in mid-January. We encourage you to discuss your student’s fall grades with him or her and ask for their assessment of how things went and what they are planning for spring. All students are encouraged to take advantage of the many services offered by the Academic Resource Center and/or to schedule a meeting with their academic dean.
Financial aid applications for returning undergrads are due May 1. We encourage you to complete your federal income taxes early so you can take advantage of the IRS Data Retrieval Tool when completing your FAFSA.
Tufts is restricting the use, storage and charging of hoverboards and similar devices anywhere on our campuses. Please take note as your student packs to return next week. Thank you for your cooperation on this important safety matter.
