| Wendell Phillips Award Speaker Auditions |
Join us on Monday, March 10, at 4 p.m. at Goddard Chapel to hear from our four 2025 Wendell Phillips Speaker finalists. The award is given annually to a senior who demonstrates both marked ability as a speaker and a high sense of public responsibility. Selected by the Committee on Student Life, the winner is the one graduating senior invited to offer a speech at the Baccalaureate Ceremony, which takes place during Commencement Weekend. A light reception will follow.

On Wednesday, March 12, at 5:30–6:30 p.m. at Goddard Chapel, the University Chaplaincy looks forward to welcoming Rev. Dr. Emma Jordan-Simpson and Rev. Dr. Patrick Reyes. Russell Lecture is the oldest endowed lectureship at Tufts, and each year we bring a speaker to offer a spiritual perspective on this historical moment. Dr. Jordan-Simpson and Dr. Reyes have distinguished themselves as public intellectuals, working at the intersection of community organizing and research.

Join us on Thursday, March 13, at 6–8:15 p.m. in Breed Memorial Hall (51 Winthrop St.) for this career exploration event. You'll meet professionals from a wide variety of organizations whose mission and projects/programs focus on careers that impact and sustain the environment. This event is geared toward those exploring careers in agriculture, food systems and policy, environmental affairs, environmental justice, environmental engineering, climate science, conservation, sustainability, and more.

Tufts Research and Experiential Opportunities (TREO) is a new platform connecting Tufts students with mentored faculty research experiences. Students can apply for research projects with faculty, postdocs, and grad students. The current list of opportunities is hosted in the Department of Biology, but any interested undergraduate student can apply. Application for summer experiences is open now! Apply by Sunday, March 23.

| Call for Session Proposals: 3rd Annual Power of Storycraft Forum |
Are you looking for conference presentation experience? The Power of Storycraft Forum, organized by Tufts alumni, brings together experts in journalism, writing, audio and visual media, and communications to create a dynamic learning opportunity for Tufts undergraduates and the community at large. Tufts students, alumni, faculty, and staff are invited to submit proposals. Speakers and presenters will be offered an honorarium. The deadline is March 30.
